1992: "The Journal of Family Welfare" won the Global Media Award of the US-based Population Institute in the category of Best Population Journal.1996: "Soch Samajh Ke" won the national award for the best family planning film 1997: Small Family By Choice Project was among the ten projects selected for the Commonwealth Award for covering issues affecting women's health throughout the life cycle. 1998: Small Family By Choice Project was chosen by IPPF for the year's prestigious "Global Vision 2000 Award" for developing innovative community strategies on population control. 1999: Small Family By Choice Project was evaluated and ranked as one of the 486 officially approved projects worldwide for EXPO-2000 - a world exposition 2000 in Hannover, Germany. Selected by the International Population Commission as one of the outstanding sustainable development projects working to reduce the birth rates in three districts of Madhya Pradesh. |
