Strength of Organization

:

I) Community Mobilization: Awareness activities in HIV/AIDS, RCH through IEC methods, Rallies, Exhibitions, Street Plays, VDO Shows, Small & Mass Meetings and Theme Based Cultural Programs in project areas.

II) Networking: We have good rapport amongst NGO’s and Govt. officials in Dhule and Nandurbar Districts.

III) Technical Staff: There is more than 100 staff members including medical, counselors ministerials and teaching staff.

IV) Good Outreach: We are working for high risk groups for HIV/AIDS in Dhule and Nandurbar Districts and RCH activities in Dhule District and also in Deaddiction activities.

V) Volunteerism: We formed groups of Supportive Volunteers in Truckers Project (146), Sanskar Manch (14) and Youth Mandals, Mahila Mandals participation for social beneficial activities of organization.

VI) We are holding sufficient infrastructure of Man, Material, Assets and sound financial position and holding FCRA & 80 G Certificates.

 Organization of Deaddiction Camps in 16 tribal villages – Funded by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India. 2002- 03 to 2003- 04 Awareness Generation amongst tribal people regarding ill effects of Drugs & Alcohol 16 tribal villages of Shirpur Taluka in Dhule District.

 Reproductive & Child Health Program in 32 tribal villages – funded by IPDP Society, Z. P., Dhule 2001- 02 to 2002 – 03 RCH awareness amongst adolescent, mothers and general awareness in community in 8 need based indicators. 32 tribal villages of Shirpur Taluka in Dhule District.

 Printing Composing & Bookbinding Training Centre for OBC – Funded by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India 2001 – 02 to 2003 - 04 Promotion of self employment and qualification for employment Dhule District.

 Care & Support Project for PLHA’S through 30 Bedded Community Care Center funded by AVERT Society, Mumbai. Since 2003 till date To provide Counseling Home base care, Psychological Therapy and Treatment on opportunistic infection Dhule District & Other neighboring Districts (North Maharashtra)

 Voluntary Counseling & Testing Center funded by AVERT Society, Mumbai. From Dec. 2005 To Encourage and undertake counseling of suspected patients for HIV Testing Dhule District & Other neighboring Districts (North Maharashtra)
       

7.

 Two - AIDS Intervention Truckers Projects STI Clinics at Songir & Awadhan (On NH-3) funded by Maharashtra State AIDS Control Society, Mumbai. Since 1998 – 1999 till date To provide treatment of Truckers on STD, Counseling about safe sex & condom promotion Mumbai – Agra National High-way (from Malegaon to Dahiwad Phata) and adjacent Villages.

 30 Bedded Deaddiction Center (Sankalp Deaddiction Center) funded by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India. Since 1998 – 99 To provide treatment, counseling and rehabilitation facilities to addicts Dhule & Nandurbar District

 Women’s Senior college affiliated with S.N.D.T. university Mumbai – Own Funding Since 2002 – 2003 To provide senior college education to school & College dropouts in rural area Shindkheda Block
